The battery light comes on after starting the car and shifting into gear. Then it goes off after about 5 minutes of driving. Everytime I put my car in reverse my battery light come on. What is the story? I'm installing a voltage meter on my car so I can find out more about the problem. In the last year I have put in a new starter, battery, and alternator. There is a possibility that my computer chip could have something to do with the problem.
