This problem with this plug has almost killed me and my family several times by losing connection as we are driving down busy streets have cars heading straight for us with my 8 year old in the car with us. We have tried replacing the plug from other Ford cars or trucks and it worked one time and then over a period of 5 months the problem came back and we re tried placing it again and every plug we tried had the same problem.
So it seems that it turns out that it is a factory defect. On the plug there is one wire on the whole plug that screws it all up. This is a serious problem that Ford needs to fix or be willing to recall.
