Ford TSB #SSM 49727
2021 Ford Ranger
TSB Document:
Affected Component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
- Summary
- Some 2021 Ranger vehicles built on 15-Jan-2021 and through 26-Feb-2021 may experience an illuminated traction control fault indicator in the instrument cluster (IC) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) C0037 and/or C003A setting in the anti-lock brake (ABS) module. This may be due to an improperly seated rear wheel speed sensor. Inspect the rear wheel speed sensor to make sure it is sitting flat against the mating surface of the rear axle. If the condition persists, continue with normal Workshop Manual diagnostics located in Section 206-09.
