Transmission shifted funky when I purchased the vehicle at 5000 miles.
Dealership said that was normal shifting and needed to be calibrated which they stated they did.
Now at 75,000 miles, it was banging so bad and revving and lurching.
Bringing the vehicle back to the dealership they stated that the clutch had gone bad and the whole transmission would need to be replaced. The cost would be $10,000 for a new transmission.
Purchased Certified preowned back in August 2024. Noticed odd shifts immediately but assumed it would adapt and iron itself out. First dealer trip was in December 2024, They performed a "service bulletin" and updated software. Drove truck another 400 miles and problems got worse:
Hesitating on cold shifts in 1st through 3rd gear and slipping out of higher gears on highway speeds only to slam into a lower gear. Once stopped, light ATF burning smell and leak.
Currently with dealer for 2nd time have CDF drum and some clutch plates replaced. Has been at dealer for over a month at this point. Will report after I retrieve vehicle and drive for recommended learn time.
