Having a 97 Ford Ranger I always used the floor heat which was much more comfortable, for me, than dash vents. The floor heat was superb in this 97 model.
My 2019 ranger hardly has any floor heat at all and almost feels like outside air is coming in. Reaching below the dash you can feel some heat from the vent but imo it sucks and is subpar for a late model vehicle.
Bringing my concern to my dealer he felt the vent and said nothing was wrong and everything was working fine. No technician inspected or tested the ventilation system.
Once again I was blown off by a Ford service manager.
