I just thought this might help someone who is stuck in the middle of nowhere with a flat tire and Ford wheel nuts that will not come off. I was lucky I was in my driveway. You have to bash on the the tight socket on the rounded nut with the rubber mallet. You can undo that one with the ratchet. It seems on my truck about half the nuts are knackered. The other ones are fine but at the time I thought if this was happening on a dark busy highway it could be dangerous to someone. So now I am going to replace all my inferior Ford wheel nuts. Apart from that, a beautiful vehicle.
