Takata recall: The Ford dealers still don't have the parts and have absolutely no idea if and when parts will become available. I have been talking to them for over one year. Furthermore, Ford has not identified another product that can be used in place of the takata airbag.
Takata recall. I was notified in July 2016 of the recall of my Ranger passenger side airbag. I have called my local Ford dealer three times since being notified, today (October 20 2017) being the latest call. Each time the dealer has said that no parts are yet available.

Takata inflators - recieved safety recall July 2016. It is September 2017. Ford still "has no parts" to fix the recall. What is the value of a recall if Ford never fixes the issue?
"takata recall" they have not fixed passanger air bag in timely manner. It has been over a year and recall incomplete and not yet available. Dealers will not make an appointment for vehicle. We live in houston a hot humid area, the vehicle is older, both putting passenger at higher risk.
Takata recall - I received a recall notice from Ford in July 2016 stating that the passenger airbag inflator is defective and needs to be replaced. It is now August 2017 and the repair has still not been done. I contacted Ford at 800-392-3673 (as advised by your representative dawn at 888-327-4236) and was told that my vehicle is included in "zone a" but that the parts are not yet available and there is no availability date. This is taking too long, and I am beginning to wonder if it will ever happen at all.
Takata recall. 12 months ago I married a Canadian and moved to Canada. I bought this vehicle specifically because it met all admissibility requirements to import into Canada. However, I cannot get it licensed due to this outstanding, yet-to-be-remedied recall. Ford Motor Company actually recommended I go back to the us and buy a different vehicle (at significant $ loss)

Received recall notice for passenger airbag over one year ago. Recall said airbag could send metal into passenger. Contacted Ford they will not replace the airbag and will not give me any information on when they will be able to replace the airbag. Ford has not offered any solutions such as a rental car.
