I had a front end impact with a dirt embankment going between 40-45 mph head on and the air bags did not deploy. My truck sustained around $15,000 worth of damage. They claim that my husbands passenger was not heavy enough to deploy the airbags, he weighed around 189 pds. They had to replace the airbag sensors and modules. Now when someone sits in the passengers seat it says that it is not activated. I don't feel safe in this truck any more. My husband broke his back in 2 spots and ruptured 2 disks, he had to have back surgery and I think if the airbags deployed this would not of happened.
