The dealer installed a Exhaust Damper Kit and reprogrammed the PCM to try to resolve this issue under warranty but this has not helped and after going online and seeing all the complaints on this engine from numerous years I decided to add my two-bits worth.
If the dealer installs a kit under warranty they must be aware of a problem and this being the case why do they install a Damper Kit which only masks the problem " Engine Vibration'. what did they do/or not do when they manufactured this engine did they neglect to install a damper on it?, does it have an unbalanced crankshaft??? Who Knows and what can we do to get this resolved before the warranty expires if it hasn't already?
so there you have it ..its a good thing 2012 is around the corner so we won't need to drive it anymore Heye.
