At 18,900 kms the inside front calipers were both sticking because of "rust", the mechanic freed them up and greased them. I was told that Ford does not grease the slides at the factory and the mechanic greasing them at the dealership was part of the brake "service". That cost me $240 on a vehicle less than three years old! My argument was that if the pads or rotors had worn out from excessive use that was my fault, but this was a mechanical failure that Ford could have prevented at the factory with the application of less than a $ Dollars worth of grease, because that is all the mechanic did to rectify the problem. Instead I am $240 out of pocket. I am not a happy customer of Ford.
