Pretty much I was going to try out the 4wd before the winter got here to see if it would work because that is how I am. I flicked the switch to 4wd high and it did not engage. No light on the dash or did it feel like it went into 4wd. The next day I brought it in to the dealer down the street and I told them my problem and they fixed it and had it back to me within the Hour with a brand new 4wd motor. They told me that the other motor was faulty and they do'nt usually go out this quick. I think I'd rather have a manual lever to switch into 4wd. but oh well. problem fixed and back to enjoying my ranger.
