Assumed Fords new car bumper to bumper warranty would cover rust on any metal that would devalue the resale of the car. This is an appearance issue and could be fixed by a wire brush and rust inhibitor or a new set of hubcaps to match the car. I assumed Ford would use a little more pride in what they sell. How stupid could I be. I was told by their service manager that a customer is just not worth losing over a set of hubcaps. Then the excuses started coming. It really sucks when you find Ford has jerked out all forms of recourse beyond a belligerent dealer representative.
