Talk about job security for Ford, what are they thinking making timing chain parts and housing and gears PLASTIC??!! Sure to go out some time sooner rather than later , crumble rather in my particular case . AND... a common problem I heard from my trusted Ford Certified mechanic at 100, 000 miles . Beware it gets into the oil pan too!! A total top end rebuild, what a hassle for a vehicle less than 10 years old.
