Summary

SOME VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH 4.0L SOHC MAY EXHIBIT A HIGHER THAN NORMAL BASE IDLE SPEED OF 1200-1400 RPM WHEN THE VEHICLE IS INITIALLY RECEIVED FROM THE ASSEMBLY PLANT. THIS HIGHER BASE IDLE STRAGETY IS NOW USED DURING PLANT / TRANSPORTATION OPERATION TO PREVENT SPARK PLUG FOULING. *TT
