Consumer states has plastic fuel tank w/a plastic "screw-on" cap that holds the fuel gauge metering system. The cap broke. While consumer was fueling vehicle, gas pump overflowed. Nlm consumer states they wasn't aware of the failure until they were fueling the vehicle and fuel spilled on the groung. Ph 09-Dec-2002
