While driving on the highway and all of sudden windshield wipers would come on. In a rainstorm windshield wiper wouldn't go on high speed. But when putting the high beam on, the wipers came on. Contacted dealer.
Both front tires are in terrible shape. Both tires seem to have belt separation. The truck still steers straight, but the tires don't hold the road well and they ride extremely rough. The right front tire makes a slapping sound as it rolls.( dot number: Tire size: 225/70sr15 )
Windshield wipers come on repeatedly without activation, causing severe distraction. Dealer reported "a loose connection". wipers continues to come on. This is on top of a major electical failure the first week off the lot that left us stranded for three hours which was also attributed to "a loose connection!"
The windshield wipers come on by themselves and to cut them off I had to put them on level 4 of the delay switch. It also will not work when I want it to or I have to wiggle the switch to get it to work.

Windshield wipers come on randomly at any speed or weather condition, staying on up to 10 seconds at varying intervals - causing distraction especially at higher speeds. Also, the fastest wiper setting does not work reliably (generally never works) at higher (40+) speeds, making it difficult to clear the windshield in hard rainfall.
The windshield wipers on my Ford Ranger activate without being turned on. When they are turned on, the high speed selection does'nt work and they have shut off on me while driving in a heavy rain fall.
Windshield wipers come on without application, impairing the driver's visibility and also this is wearing the wipers out and scratching the window. This happens at least daily. Dealer can't a find solution.

Wiper switch faied in rain storm. Wiper can be activated by hitting switch. This does not last long. Advised by service dept that switches are defective. Defroster failed to heat up. Heat will finally blow after driving truck for long period of time and hitting dashboard.
Windshield wipers operate intermittently. They come on and go off by themselves. Dealer contacted and is aware of problem. Problem still exists. Provide further information.
Windshield wipers come on at any given time. Contacted Ford they state no problem. Dealer stated problem exists but no repair. Which part of Ford do you believe"?" wipers still malfunctioning.
