At 53,000 miles the tramsmission started to whine when put into reverse. If first put into drive than reverse no problem. Now after 2 transmission oil changes, and another 20,000 miles the transmission lets off a chirp when put dirrectly into drive. Ford claims the transmission is leaking down due to a faulty O-ring, BULLSNORT! I'm betting it's a pinion gear getting ready to let go or it's the clutches, which are getting ready to fail. Anyone have any thoughs?
