I have a 1997 Ford Ranger XLT with about 100,000 miles on it. My problem is the instrument panel light. It just faded out over the coolant temperature gauge and the left-hand side of the speedometer gauge. Also when I turn the engine off the temperature gauge needle does not drop to zero until the engine is turned on again (when it is cold) What could the possible problem be and how can it be fixed?
Thank you for your help.
