When consumer got into his vehicle, he noticed the smell of gasoline inside of vehicle. Stopped at a mechanic shop and mechanic looked under truck to see if there were any leaks. What he saw was spray of fuel coming from vehicle. After putting vehicle on a lift, mechanic discovered that gas line between tank and the fuel filter was distorted, and went into fuel filter. There were holes there. Gasoline could spread to muffler and tail pipe for potential explosion.
