I own a Tesla Model 3 and a Ford Mustang Mach-E. I bought each within 3 weeks of each other. In that time I have only received 2 software updates from Ford, even though https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Power-Up_Version_History denotes several are available.
In that same time my Tesla Model 3 has received some 10 or so updates. Now, one might argue the Tesla needed the updates because of bad software. This would be completely untrue. The UI for the Tesla is tight and the software has never needed a reboot. Contrary, the Mach E frequently has a glitch such as CarPlay connection issues or Navigation hick-up, which requires me to reboot while driving. Furthermore, the Tesla just seems to keep introducing cool new features and graphics. The Mach-E is way behind in software maturity!
