Ford TSB #SSM 52007
2024 Ford Mustang
TSB Document:
Affected Component: EQUIPMENT
- Summary
- Some 2024 Mustang vehicles equipped with a 2.3L EcoBoost engine and built on or before 12-Oct-2023 may exhibit an inoperative air conditioning system (A/C). This may be due to a refrigerant leak coming from the receiver/drier upper cap on the condenser. If a refrigerant leak is suspected, inspect the receiver/drier upper cap on the condenser for a refrigerant leak and repair as necessary using causal part number 19712 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual. If the receiver/drier upper cap is not leaking, continue with normal diagnostics found in the Workshop Manual, Section 412-00.
