Mustang Ecoboost 2.3L I4

2020 Mustang ecoboost. Purchased new from Tedd Britt dealer in Virginia in June 2021, really happy with the car until the transmission started banging hard into reverse and delay shift into 1st gear with a small bang, every so often. I told the dealer about it, All American Ford in Old Bridge NJ, but they said they couldn't reproduce the problem in their garage so it's not their problem. The car is under warranty so maybe they're waiting for it to expire. This hard shifting into reverse and small delayed bang into 1st is worrying me, I will take it to a different dealer and see what they say. I hope Ford does the right thing and addresses the problem, the dealers don't seem to care unless your out of warranty and are ready to spend thousands in repairs.

Ford loves selling their vehicles and collecting high prices and payments from customers, they should live up to their claims and address their mistakes with a proper recall, many people complain about these transmissions online, I'm guessing thousands for sure. If Ford doesn't address this problem soon I'm ready to write them off, just like I did with Jeep.

Mustang Eco Boost Premium

This has happened several times which makes no sense, sometimes when you put it into reverse it shifts really hard. It is like a jerking feeling, I have had this same issue with a Jeep I used to own. I am not sure why a brand new 2020 Mustang should be having this issue at all. Other times it is a smooth shift and you can't even feel it. There is definitely something wrong with the transmission on this car.
