Took it in to two different dealerships and they say it is normal. I had 3 other Mustangs and never had a clunking sound when stopping at an intersection with an Automatic tranny.
I reported it to the district managers 4 times and they could not to find any recalls about it. I have talked to several Mustang owners and they have the same problem.
I went out with at the Ford Mechanic and the new 2014 with 10 miles had the same problem. Something is not right when the tranny down shift from 5th gear to a full stop and then it clunks before the car stops. It works good when starting up and a lot of power with the 5.0.
