I have sent 3 separate complaints to Ford, no response from anyone. The front hood is covered in paint chips, front fenders, bumper and now the roof of the car. I now have 32,000 miles on the car and the chips are getting worse. The car does not go through a car wash. I hand wash and wax the car. I actually washed and waxed it 8/13/16, today a mechanic friend looked at my car and said pretty much, "It looks like hell, you are still under warranty, have to told Ford about this?" He also mentioned that with "Clear Coat" the paint shouldn't chip like this. I just want someone from Ford to look at this and repaint the whole car.
Update from Apr 1, 2017: It's now 2017, I took the Mustang to the dealership, I was quoted over $6,000 to repaint the front of my car. Now, the car looks like I was in a rock/sand storm, hundreds of paint chips and they are getting bigger. I wrote to the board of directors at Ford with pictures, that got someone's attention. I received a phone call and a letter requesting more pictures for review. Received another phone call from Ford and was told the committee turned down my request to repaint my Mustang. Plan B is now kicking in, however, I was told through legal advise I need a letter sent to me stating why Ford will not take care of the defective paint on my Mustang. I wrote Ford another letter asking for their explanation in writing why they turned me down. It's been two weeks, no letter.
