I have only had the car 5 days. I went to town today and it felt like the rear end just locked up. I pulled off the road waited and tried again, would not shift out of first gear. I got the car turned around and FINALLY it shifted and I was able to make it home.
Took the car out tonight again, going into town completely okay. Left it, ran went inside store and when I was leaving I felt 2 bumps in the back end. I went to the end of the driveway to leave and when I did, it acted like it didn't want to move forward, even tho I was giving it more gas. Went down the road and the car went beserk... Air bag light came on, Wrench light came on, tire inflation sensor came on error with it, Odometer was just lines, speedometer stopped working completely, gas light came on even tho I had more then enough fuel, All the trip's mileages were gone just lines, car would barely go up a small hill. FINALLY got the car home, pulled in shut the car off... RESTARTED CAR AND ALL WAS WELL.. again... I have no idea, this was my dream car, which I am starting to think is a NIGHTMARE... still very much under FORD WARRANTY but of course, holiday weekend and closed on Monday Memorial Day.. THEY WILL FIX THIS ISSUE OR I GET A NEW CAR... simple.
When it happened the first time, I had no idea what was happening, all I can hope for at this point is that whatever went wrong is in the computer for them to get when it gets into the shop. THIS IS JUST PLAIN SCARY AND I AM NOT WANTING TO DRIVE IT FAR RIGHT NOW. PLEASE if anyone knows what is going on please let me know as I am not going to get much sleep tonight until I find out what is wrong. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN....MY DREAM IS QUICKLY TURNING INTO A NIGHTMARE. THANK YOU..
