I took out our new car 2013 Mustang in Dec. 2013. After a while of driving I put the car on the Automatic Speed Control and the car took off. No matter what I did it would not stop. I applied the brakes as should be and it made no difference. At the highest speed was 85 miles per hour and I was in trouble trying to keep it on the road. At one point I managed to get it to slow down by down shifting but it still continued to gain speed again. The speed control was not responding to anything. I don't know what finally happened but It slowed down enough for me to throw it into park. After doing that the idiot light went out.
After researching this problem has been occurring since 2006 and ongoing. I don't know if it is too soon for any other complaints to come in yet. I only hope you can get it together before someone or more might be killed. I have been driving for 40 years, I have never had an accident nor do I speed or no tickets either; I do consider myself a good driver and I am here to say if a non experienced driver had been in that car that day I don't think they or anyone else around them would be alive today. I can only hope you might take a closer look at this for the good name of Chevrolet.
And by the way, we are selling a brand new car.
