Part two brake falter, read clutch story first. Look under transmission problems. During an accident the brake pedal was put to the floor and didn't even slow the car down never mind stop it. I'm not sure if it was brake/vacuume or master cylinder, or anti locks, just had no brakes at all!
I did read problems with f150 not sure if the same parts are on mustangs but I will investigate.
