Went into Ford in 2012 with paint bubbling at front end, car was 2 years old at this time!!, was told that it was most likely rust but had to be perforated for warranty to kick in. As it turns out, it is paint that wasn't well adhered to the metal and started flaking.
Am now told that paint defect is only a 3 year warranty and that it is too late and that they can't help me, rust would have been a 5 year coverage....but they got it wrong from the get-go...
This is my second Mustang to do this and they DID repair that last one as it was a "hidden defect"
Looking for any others with this problem....and a good lawyer on the cheap:)
