MY 2010 MUSTANG I PURCHASED NEW AND WITHIN THREE YEARS THE PAINT ON THE HOOD STARTED BUBBLING AND PEELING. I TOOK IT TO FORD AND THEY TOLD ME CORROSION WAS NOT COVERED UNLESS IT WENT ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE ALUMINUM HOOD. FORD SHOULD COVER THIS. IT IS THEIR PROBLEM NOT MINE.
I've noticed that the paint on the hood of the car has places where the paint is bubbling in spite of the fact that there are no scratches in the paint in those areas either from the top of the hood or from underneath.
This appears to be a common problem with Mustangs.
There are so many gaps of where paint should be. Around the door sill front and back and under the Mustang door sill itself. The gaps are where water can collect and start rusting. I have already commented on the hood now this. It is ridiculous. I have had my Mustang since 2012. It seems everything is going south.
