I bought this pile when I first moved 2400 miles to NV as my daily. I was driving the day after I paid for it and down shifted as I turned into my home. It is gated so I have to creep up to the gate. I noticed as I put it into creeping gear (1st) the car immediately fell flat on it's face in the RPMs or forks waiting so hard. I kind of felt that it was going to be some sort of timing related so basically I just ramped it up to 1500 RPM to about 2000 RPM and let it fall back down to idle, this reset the engine back to a nice idle...
I told the dealer about this, they then replaced the cam sensors and said it was fixed. Not three days later it did it again. I asked if they could check the plugs and if they ever checked the fluids and they said they would when I bring it in. I did and it was down 2 quarts of oil but the plugs were fine and it did not need a tune up. Sent on my way, I had a day off so I took it to Death Valley (winter time) for a long distance run over 150 miles. Drove like a champ for once but on the way back home almost back in the cell phone coverage area, it fell flat on its face giving only half gas pedal and the wrench popped up on the dash.
This time the dealer took the car back and replaced the gas pedal and test drove it for me and the pedal was still half dead. So they sent it off to another dealer and they said the pedal was defective and they could fix it under factory warranty but sadly the part was on a massive back order for a recall.
I have had to drive a rental for 90% of the time I have owned this car and I am sick of the phone calls from the dealer and to the dealer. I should have just bought a C6 vette!
