One day my O/D light started flashing and my car was shifting funky. Knew this related to transmission once it started slipping. Googled what that meant and came back with a "transmission check light" that is common in Ford Explorers and Mustangs that have the same transmission as the Ford Explorer. Transmission guy said it needed a whole rebuild. $2,500 later and the car has only 89,000 miles on.
