The contact owns a 2007 Ford Mustang. The contacted stated that after getting out of his vehicle there was an odor and noticed that the right rear axle was a bright red color. He immediately drove the vehicle to a dealer who informed the contact that the brake calipers were pressed against the rotors which fractured. The right rear rotors were repaired. After driving the vehicle 35 days later the failure occurred again. He took the vehicle back in for another diagnostic test but they were unable to duplicate or diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 24,000.
