The contact owns a 2007 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that he could only pump six gallons of gas into the vehicle. The pump handle suddenly stopped pumping gas and there was no overflow, warning indicators, or noises. The fuel gauge indicated that the fuel tank was half full. The vehicle was taken to a dealer and they stated that there was a technical service bulletin for the 2005 model that was related to NHTSA campaign id number 10014651 (fuel system, other). The dealer could not repair the failure and stated that the gas tank had two parts and was not transferring the gas to the second tank. No repairs were made. The current mileage was 3,065 and failure mileage was 2,500. Updated 3/4/08
