Currently at 176K miles. I got the car at just over 50K miles in 2008. it started around 65-70K miles that I really noticed it. As the miles went on, it started to and continues to be about 50/50 for when ever I put it in reverse under any conditions for it to "clunk". Usually after pausing for a second and then it goes into gear.
Also, at 80K, I had the transmission rebuilt due to the 3rd gear breaking when I accelerated onto the freeway and the insurance as well as dealership refused to pay. So even with the rebuild it still continued to do it.
Update from Mar 30, 2017: 3/29
New solenoid pack on transmission, shifting overall is smoother, but still randomly slow or clunks into reverse
