Takata recall: Org. Complaint #11035736 original letter regarding recall, dated 2016. Call autoway Ford 07/29/16 and was told no parts, called again numerous times after that, I know for sure I called on 10/23/17 and again 02/15/18. Parts manager called me on 02/15/18 due to my concern with the inflator not being replaced. He stated that they were getting some in but they are for only 2011, 2012, 2013 vehicles since they are newer and more of these years on the road. I have not been able to have a passenger in my car for a long time due to the liability. I don't feel I should be punished because my vehicle is a 2006, with only 54.000 miles on it. I am very upset at this time. Ford is no way helping me. I noticed when I got to the site it said to contact dealer and ask for a free loaner, will all dealerships do this?? if I leave car at dealership, I am afraid someone will use it because the day I bought it, I had to pick it up the next day and the manager took his wife to dinner in it. I did not approve of this at all. Please advise as to the status of the inflator for my passenger air bag. Thank you

When setting up a date to replace both air bags, I was told that this could take 2-4 days. I told them that this is the only form of transportation I have and can you give me a loaner car. They said yes, we can rent you a car. The recall notice states "no cost" and now they want $$$ for a rental. Two of my colleagues had loaner cars from GMC & doge dealers. I have asked four dealers in my area, with no luck. What recourse do I have?

After getting the drivers airbag in my 08 Ford Mustang I have received info that it read only a temporary fix. So the drivers airbag had to be replaced again. The passengers side air bag is also defective. With no replacement parts available until spring/ summer 2018. So anyone riding in passengers side is St risk of harmful damage or death. They are not willing to provide me with a loaner car. So I asked what I can do to protect my passengers in the meantime. They tell me to have them ride in back seat. There's no back seat for adults bc it's a. convertible. That leaves the trunk for a passenger. I'm afraid of getting sued by someone getting hurt in my car due to the negligence of Ford Motor Co.
