clear coat burning and peeling
Bought the car very gently used in 2012 at 28,000 miles. Within the first year the clear coat began to get baked by the sun and flake off. By summer of 2016, an entire section of the rear bumper clear coat at least one foot long and three inches wide had flaked off. the front bumper has fared slightly better, with a section of about 8 inches missing. the rest of the car looks so good, but the substandard job done by Ford on the bumpers ruins the entire image of the car and depreciates the value. Everything about 2006 Mustang paint is inferior work.
