- Fixing Automatic Slipping - This is a kit for modified servo's that control the 1st to 2nd and 4th to 5th (overdrive servo) and the 2nd to 3rd (intermediate servo). the 5r55 has a hardened steel servo that is a machine tight fit in the aluminum case and will wear out the case allowing fluid by and slipping when shifting. This allows a seal to be used on a custom servo to stop the wear and keep it sealed.

Haven't had this problem diagnosed by a mechanic yet. Car has been running for 40K miles like this. Might be something simple but hate to spend thousands on it since it doesn't seem to be getting worse.
