The contact owned a 2005 Ford Mustang. While driving approximately 45 mph, the front driver side control arm fractured and caused the driver to lose steering control. As a result, the vehicle crashed into a tree. In addition, the air bags failed to deploy. The driver suffered from a head concussion, laceration to the face, and body bruises that included severe injuries to the stomach and blood clots. Medical attention was received. The vehicle was destroyed and towed to a salvage facility. A police report was filed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 88,603.

Engine light came on and car was sticking in gear so I took it to the dealer. The dealer found out through a diagnostic test that the throttle assembly but wanted me to pay almost $1000 to get it fixed. I told them no and picked my car up. I went on line and found out there was a recall on the throttle assembly.

None of the gauges work. I have to drive pacing myself with other vehicles. Only the icon for gas needed comes on when the gas is low. Starting after about 10,000 miles on the car I have had increasing problems getting fuel in the car. Not just myself, but anyone that tries to fuel the car. I initially started holding the fuel nozzle upside down to get gas and that worked for a few years. (although you look like a dumb ass that doesn't know how to put gas in a car!) this last year it has gotten so bad that I am lucky to get 2 gallons in it, and that is with it repeatedly shutting off. Since day one the right front wheel makes a grinding/clunking noise when I turn the tire in either direction. It makes me feel like the wheel will fall off. My cars body assembly is also crap. The front lower grill has popped off and disappeared. I have seen several, at least 10 other Mustangs of this year missing the same part. The plastic, yes plastic!, screws pop out. The places where the inside seams of the car are supposed to connect are detached. The light enclosure in the trunk will not stay attached. The seat handles fall off. I only have 50,000 miles on this car. Repair shops tell me to wait for a recall, when is that going to happen?

Car vibrates/rumbles excessively at 70 mph, started 3000-4000 miles after I bought car. Also front end clunks like car with 100,000 miles on it. After numerous trips to dealer Ford only states that this is normal for the vehicle"??"

2005 Ford Mustang GT - there was bad vibration within vehicle. This happened anytime while driving at 45 mph and above. It seemed worse when the car sat for a few days. This did not start until the car had approximately 3000-4000 miles on it. The dealer seemed to think it was the tires, one new set of all four tires, and a set of two tires that were put on this vehicle. The tire calibration machine stated that the tires were within specs. The consumer called the manufacturer, and there were no recalls or technical service bulletins on this car. The consumer believed the problem is with the suspension or the drive train. I purchased my 2005 Ford Mustang on May 28, 2005 and about a week after I started noticing the paint had chips in it, then I started looking the car over with a magnifying glass (almost) and noticed that the tint that had been placed in Florida where the car was purchased from dealer to dealer was bubbling in places and since it wasn't done by Ford nothing could be done, then I noticed when I came to a stop and pulled it out of gear the rpms would run extremely high then fall low and back up again, and it continues to do this, about 1 1/2 months ago I started noticing a rattling in the front of the car, not sure what that is yet, we will see what the dealership says about this all tomorrow.

Initial problems: 1. pin strip on driver side was peeling off 2. A/C vent fell out of console 3. convertible top got stuck in the down position. Stopped by closest dealer because I was on vacation and we pulled the top back up. Brought it to a local dealer for repairs and they said it was not covered under warranty because the entire convertible top frame was twisted. They stated this was because I most likely had driven while the top was half way up/down. After several weeks Ford engineers decided to cover the repairs for the top. Took the dealer five weeks to get all parts and replace the top. 4. gas tank replaced because gas pumps would constantly cut off while refueling. 5. A/C makes popping noise every once in while. Current issues: 1. noise in front end while turning at slow speeds 2. after car warms to driving temperature, there is a thumping noise heard in engine, very prominent in interior 3. driver side exterior door handle sticks in the out position 4. convertible top making a thud noise when raising and lowering top 5. exhaust is making a popping noise when if engine is revved right after starting the car 6. slight vibration/rattling noise coming from console while car idles 7. A/C making popping noise every once in while.
