With about 6200 miles the Fail Safe warning light appeared. The dealer wanted a two week wait for an appointment. Local garage scanned code and reset. Within 200 more miles the same problem occurred and the dealer made a quick appointment. After lots of code searching they replace the throttle body assembly at a total cost of $1060. With a "hope this fixes it".
An outrageous amount for a car with 6200 miles. They would not contact Ford about a possible recall or warrantee for this part. I am now going to contact Ford as other throttle body complaints have appeared on this site.
