After changing the gears from 350 ratio to 410 Ford performance gears, and a 1 piece drive shaft, i have developed a knock in the right rear. Local speed shop found nothing wrong with the rear end. What could this noise be from?
Ford quality sucks. 10 rear ends in this junk car.. Ford keeps putting the same defective 3.55 rear gears back in the rear end and they still make noise. I cant believe Ford will not fix it right. They really dont care for there customers. A friend's F150 had the same problem, six rear ends and they never fixed the rear end noise.
SINCE I BOUGHT THIS CAR, THE REAR END HAS BEEN ONE OF MANY PROBLEMS. THE DEALERS CANT SEEM TO FIX IT, THEY HAVE TRIED 8 TIMES. I GO IN AND SAY CHANGE THE OIL AND THE REAR END. IT WOULD TAKE HOURS TO DESCRIBE ALL THE PROBLEMS WITH THIS CAR, LIKE TRANS, STARTING,DRIVESHAFT,RADIO,GAS FILLING,RATTLES THEY NEVER FIXED. BUT 8 REAREND REPAIR ATTEMPTS AND VIBRATION PROBLEMS AND DEALER DAMAGES TO THE CAR MAKES ME WISH I HAD NEVER OWNED A FORD. THE DESIGN OF THE CAR I LIKE, FORDS CUSTOMER CARE IS VERY BAD, THUS THERE STOCK IS BELOW 5. I WISH IT WAS A GOOD CAR, TOO BAD FORD REALLY DOES NOT CARE.
