Adjustment lever broke on both driver and passenger sides. In addition, the molded plastic adjustment panel on the lower left side of the driver side seat completely fell off a few years ago.
It falls off and I can't adjust the seat. I sometimes can't find it. I don't want it to fall off and me not know about it and it slides under the brake or gas pedal.
The back of seat release levers constantly break. Ford decided to put the cheapest plastic parts on this car. You can buy insanely priced new plastic ones that also break or you can buy aftermarket metal levers online. I chose to not replace again after multiple levers broke. I just use the release lever at the bottom of the seat. Not many people want to ride in the back seat of a Mustang anyway.
The seat reclining adjustment lever on the driver side just falls off--dealer has repeatedly banged on it to stay put but by the time I drive the 2 miles to get home it has fallen off again. It is impossible to get out of the car without hitting it so it probably is just inevitable it will fall off.
This is most annoying because although I now keep it in center console (I don't often have to raise seat for passengers) it is necessary to get it out and put it on before I can readjust my seat to drive. It means I have to go to the passenger side to put in groceries or shopping bags in the back seat.
