When I bought car "the carfax report" confirmed the 10,000 miles. Ever since buying the car in May 2009, everytime the car sits out in direct sunlight I have problems with the switches; if the sun beats down on drivers' side, then that window has problems, sometimes as much as a couple months. If the sun beats down on passenger side- same problem. Always throughout the summer months. Pain in the rear when you go to drive in restaurants and other facilities(e.g. gated residences, military bases). My recommendation- get electric switches from another provider; and replace the present ones. These switches have been in their inventory since the 80's cause I had a Fairmont and had the same problem.
Again, when it is hot out, this mustang has problems. When it is hot the electrical windows stop working, however, when it is 70 degrees or colder, the windows usually work. Weird, I know!

Random windows stop rolling up and down. Usually problem goes away by itself in a day or 2.
