trim piece separates from the body of the car just enough to catch wind but not be noticeable by the eye- is definitely annoying, but cosmetically you wouldn't notice it unless you really looked for it.
wind sound is very annoying- it echoes off the driverside glass just PERFECTLY and you can hear it at any speed above 50mph. I've checked the forums and its a common problem apparently. Whatever sealant ford used didn't work very well.
