The contact owns a 2000 Ford Mustang. While driving 45 mph, the contact lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree. She sustained injuries and the vehicle was destroyed. The front air bags failed to deploy. The current and failure mileages were 42,000. Updated 5/19/08 the seat belt did not properly restrain the consumer. Updated 05/19/08.
Ford Mustang 2000 was totaled in a frontal crash after accelerator got stuck but air bags did not deploy. Capital Ford at 4222 oleander drive in wilmington, nc repaired the air bags in 2002.
My daughter was involved in a single vehicle front end collision. She hit a fire hydrant after a 90 degree spin at a speed of about 30 mph. The car sustained $6000 in damage and was totaled. Neither the driver or passenger airbags deployed. I questioned the body shop if they should have, everyone I talked to feels they should have. Isn't this what they are designed to do?
Consumer was driving and suddenly the air bags deployed. Consumer stopped suddenly, causing the vehicle behind to be involved in a crash. Manufacturer told consumer to report incident to the insurance company.
I was driving a Mustang on an ice road when I lost control of the car and hit a big tree that was on a ditch. I hit the tree with the front of the car. The airbags did not deploy which caused my head to hit something and I was bleeding real bad and now I have a big scar on my forehead.

While driving 30 mph consumer's vehicle was involved in a head on collision. Upon impact, dual air bags did not deploy, and driver's side seat belt failed. As a result, driver hit the windshield, and sustained severe lower back and neck injuries.
While driving 35 mph, the consumer rounded a corner near a hidden stop light. Another vehicle was at the stop light and the consumer collided with the vehicle. The left front of the vehicle hit the right rear of the other motorist. The air bags never deployed after the collision. There were no injuries involved with the collision. The police did arrive on the scene, but no one was cited. The dealer was aware of the problem, but the manufacturer was not. While driving at 40 mph consumer rear ended a vehicle that was stopped at a stop light. The air bag equipment did not deploy. Vehicle suffered undercarriage damage when the consumer tried to miss the other vehicle by trying to jump the curb.
While stopping at an intersection another car driving 20-30 mph hit consumer's vehicle head on. Upon impact, driver's air bags did not deploy, driver sustained injuries.
While traveling at 60 mph consumer ran head-on into a telephone pole, and none of front air bags deployed. Contacted dealer, and the dealer was not willing to do anything.
Vehicle was going 30-40mph when, another vehicle ran red light, causing consumer's vehicle to T-bone other vehicle. Front air bags didn't deploy. Consumer was not seriously injured. Manufacturer told consumer to take vehicle to a dealer, and would be a charged to inspect vehicle. Insurance adjuster was coming out to inspect if vehicle was totaled.
While consumer was driving between 15-20 mph had to apply brakes hard and both airbags deployed. Dealer said computer showed vehicle had been involved in an accident, that was why airbags deployed.
While another vehicle was traveling on wrong side of road consumer flashed head lights and blew horn, and other vehicle ran head-on into consumer's vehicle. Upon impact, front air bags failed to deploy. Please provide further informaiton.
Consumer was backing up, hit a curb, and then went forward all at less then 10 mph. When vehicle went forward, driver's airbag did not deploy. Ford informed consumer that airbag should have deployed in this case
While driving about 35-40 mph in slippery road conditions consumer hit 2 trees and ditch head-on. Consumer hit her head on steering wheel and needed 18 stitches. Neither airbag deployed. Vehicle was totalled.
My wife (donna) on her way home from work became involved in an accident where the air bags did not deploy when they should have. She was clipped on the left rear quarter panel which spun her around causing a second SUV to impact the drivers door pushing her and flipping her until she impacted a cement barrier between opposite traveled lanes. The impact at the barrier was stong enough that it pushed the radiator aginst the motor and the motor toward the firewall. Fortunately she was not seriously injured and the air bags were not needed, but what if that cement barrier had not been there and she would have skidded into oncoming traffic where the air bags would have been a contributing factor in saving her life?
Consumer was traveling about 35mph on highway when a deer ran in front of vehicle. Consumer swerved and lost control of vehicle. Vehicle went up to an enbankment. Then veered into a concrete wall, and hit a reflector sign. Vehicle was totaled. Consumer suffered internal injuries. Dual airbags didn't deploy.
