The contact stated the air bags did not deploy in a crash. The vehicle swerved to miss debris in the road and hit the guard rail at 55 mph. The vehicle spun and hit the guard rail four times. The driver's side seat also snapped, not allowing the contact to reach the brake pedal and stop the vehicle. The seat belt came unlatched at the buckle assembly. A police report taken at the scene, and the vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The contact sustained contusions to head, neck, shoulder, hip, back, knee, and ankle. The vehicle has not been inspected.
The caller said airbags deployed without warning. The caller's daughter was turning into a gas station at about 5 mph when both front airbags deployed. She did not hit anything. Dealer and manufacturer offered no help for free. There was damage to the vehicle.
Contact states that his son was killed in a car accident in 2003 while driving a 1999 Ford Mustang. The front air bags did not deploy. He contacted Ford, and Ford said it was not their fault. He tried to get Ford to cooperate with him as to why the air bags did not deploy, and they have not responded.
While driving 45 mph vehicle was involved in a collision, upon impact, front air bags did not deploy. Consumer sustained minor injuries. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.
While traveling less than 5 mph and as a result of another vehicle crashing into consumer's vehicle air bags did not deploy at any time. The vehicle was totalled due to the damage to the front of the vehicle. There were 2 injuries.

While driving 5-10 mph and without warning both passenger and drivers side airbags deployed, resulting in major damage to vehicle, and minor injuries to occupants. When the air bags deployed the consumer lost control of the vehicle and ran over a curb, caused damage on the windshield, the steering wheel and passenger side dash board.
While traveling on highway without prior warning a deer ran in front of the vehicle. Consumerapplied brakes and vehicle slipped on the rock and hit an enbankment. Dual airbags didn't go off.

I put the car in neutral and pulled the emergency brake. I then waited to make sure the brake was going to hold the car and then I ran in the house. 3-4 minutes later the emergency brake gave way and the car rolled into a tree. Airbags did not deploy.
Conumer was driving down the street and a lady hit him from the left side of the vehicle. He was at the light and was driving 35mph. Upon impact, driver's airbag didn't go off.
Vehicle been involved in an accident. Vehicle lost control and ran into serveral trees and side of the building before vehicle stopped. Upon impact, neither air bag deployed. NHTSA needs to look into this matter.
Consumer was driving to work and it was raining that day. A tire slipped off of the pavement and hit against the curb. Consumer put car into 4th gear and then into 2nd gear to slow down. She hit the gas pedal and car hit a 12foot embankment. Then swerved across the street and went into a barbed wire fence. Took a whole tree landing down. Upon impact, driver's/passenger's air bags failed to deploy.
