1998 Cobra Mustang leaks fuel at filler neck to tank. I think this is a poor design as I have found many forums on how to replace this gasket. It took me 35 minutes start to finish and did not have to drop the tank. This is really a safety issue as gas would pour from my car when I would fill it up and make a turn to the left. If you smell fuel after fill-up, replace this grommet/gasket. It could save your life.
Do not wait! Its about 25 bucks to Do it yourself or about 100 bucks at a repair shop.
This gasket Ford PT# 2R3Z-9072-AA is used from 1998 to 2004.
