Vechicle overheats resulting in the covergasket failing, causing fluid to leak into the engine compartment was not noticeable right away as had oil chage the week before and the mechanic did not notice any problems. This has caused us to replace all the gaskets costing us $600 then when drove one day vehicle suddenly began making gurgling noise and the temperture gauge went hot and now the whole engine needs to be replaced as the overheating had caused more problems than we first thought. We feel this is a serious problem with this Ford product and would like to be reimbursed.
While driving the vehicle the consumer smelled smoke, consumer states that it smelled like wire burning. Consumer opened the hood of the vehicle, and fire came from the front end of the vehicle. There were injuries. There were no warnings.
While driving, vehicle suddenly began making a gurgling noise and the temperature gauge rapidly went hot, vehicle is in need of an engine, consumer feels this is a manufacturing defect and is requesting reimbursement.
Engine overheats with ac on headgasket blow and head warped and heads need shaving headgaskets replaced and head bolts replaced out of pocket cost $1500 or better.
Vehicle stalled & there was a recall on it due to engine head gasket defect. Consumer never received a recall letter because vehicle was used. Dealer wouldn't cover the cost of repair.
While driving engine overheated. Engine check light came on, and car started smoking. Drove car home. Then took it to dealer. Dealer said there was a recall on vehicle's make/model, but this vehicle was not included.
Started car, check engine light came on, then smoke came out of tail pipe. Dealer told consumer he needed a lifter and a rocker, however parts fell off when they did a test drive, dealer found a new motor was needed.
