The head gasket on consumers vehicle failed. Consumer had the defect replaced. There is a recall for the exact failure consumer experienced. Consumer requests reimbursement for monies paid for repairs. Ford declined consumers request because consumer was five thousand miles over the limit for reimbursement. Consumer feels a reimbursement is in order because Ford had previous knowledge of the defective head gaskets regarding the Mustang vehicles.
Secondary owner states head gasket blew. There is a recall relating to head gasket. However consumer was denied reimbursement because the claim was submitted too late. Consumer is requesting reimbursement stating that claim was submitted within time specified.
The head gasket failed 2 months after the vehicle was purchased. The dealer refused to replace the head gasket although the vehicle was still under warranty. The consumer had to pay to have the head gasket repaired.
3.8L V6 engine was overheating and losing coolant while driving. Vehicle taken to a dealer, and dealer informed consumer of a blown head gasket. Feel free to provide any further information.

While driving, the vehicle would leak oil and coolant from the tail pipe. Contacted the dealer and was informed the head gasket was defective. The vehicle is beyond the seven year or 100K mile warranty.. consumer stated while driving, the vehicle started shaking, the engine did not have the same power as it should have and was leaking a mixture of coolant and oil from the exhaust, the next day vehicle was hard to start, consumer contacted the dealer and they admitted the head gasket was defective.

My Ford Mustang has a known (by Ford Motor Company)engineering defect. The head gasket is blown and it caused related problems from over heating.Ford Motor Company will not assume responsibilty. This problem is clearly an engineering defect.my satisfaction has not been met in this matter. My address needs to be corrected to reflect that I live in mi not ia.

While traveling notice white smoke and fluid coming out of exhaust. Dealer has been contacted, and technician stated that head gasket neeed to be replaced.

The vehicle was smoking and overheating after repair because intake manifold gasket was not replaced.
