My son was driving on 410 highway when the hood of his 1995 Mustang separated and flew off onto the highway, I thank god he was not hurt nor anyone else. We learned about the hood separation when a friend told us about the recall and we called jennings anderson Ford, they said to bring it and they would replace the hood. My husband recently passed away and we were on our way out of town when the dealer said they would not fix the hood recall because the car had been repaired in an auto accident, the accident did not affect the hood what so ever, please help, thank you.
