The Forward Alert function (Part of the ACC feature) doesn't work. It will not engage when I press the switch. Later the core ACC cruise function also failed - but I fixed this by removing the switch and refitting. Must assume a poor connection to the switch. But forward alert still does not engage.
It seems odd to me because every component part of the ACC cruise system works else it wouldn't work- but these are the same systems that supports Forward Alert. So I'm baffled. Car holds its speed, tracks a cars speed in front if its traveling slower. It goes into standby etc all as normal but forward alert will not engage.
Anyone out there know why?
